  • From their small workshop in Honolulu, Jams World became famous cross the globe in the 1990s, in no small part for their nylon windbreakers and shorts. This '90s-inspired piece is straight from the Jams archive, with co-branded patches and a spirit that embodies the Jams manifesto: Color, Freedom, Difference, Love.

  • Low-profile, 6-panel construction. Embroidered. Adjustable nylon strapback with brass hardware. 100% nylon.

  • Adjustable. One size fits most.

  • Famous in the '80s and '90s for its ubiquitous shorts, "Fresh Prince" color palette, cryptic slogans, and neon colorblock nylon that inspired brands ranging from Polo to Stussy to Chanel, Jams World is based in Honolulu, where the company was founded in 1964. "I've been obsessed with Jams World for years," says Rowing Blazers founder Jack Carlson. "I collect their iconic pieces from the '90s: the legionnaire hats, the nylon windbreakers, the printed shirts, of course the shorts. Last year, I spent a week in their archives and hanging out with the owners, Pua and Heather (Pua's dad started the brand!). It was mind blowing. The stuff in their archives is inspiration for a hundred collections. The attitude, the sense of color, the use of language on some of the pieces... it all really resonates with me. And you can see so clearly how they encapsulated the zeitgest and also see how clearly other brands were looking at what Jams was doing in the '90s. It's an honor to work with Jams on this."
