Jack Carlson and Léo Guarin for Goodwill

Every year, Goodwill taps a handful of designers to present at its annual gala. Last year’s designers included Tommy Hilfiger and Todd Snyder. This year, Rowing Blazers founder and creative director Jack Carlson was of the gala’s featured designers. Working with his mentee, Parsons student and CFDA scholar Léo Guarin, Jack scoured Goodwill thrift stores across the city. They then repurposed their finds to create ten unique pieces, composing two complete looks, which will be auctioned to benefit Goodwill’s programs for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.
