Warm & Wonderful has updated an icon. Introducing the Diana Edition Sheep Sweater, a new lightweight version of the “Black Sheep” jumper made from 100% cotton. The new iteration features painstaking updates to the classic pattern and fit, making it more closely resemble the princess’ very own Sheep Sweater from the 80s (which we recently unearthed and studied!).

Updated, more historically-accurate pattern and fit based on Diana's personal jumper. Hand-embroidered sheep eyes. 100% cotton. Imported.

This sweater fits true-to size (women's sizing). Compared to the original wool version, the Women’s Diana Edition Sheep Sweater has a slightly boxier fit and a slightly shorter sleeve length.

Warm & Wonderful was founded by friends Joanna Osborne and Sally Muir, who began selling their knitted jumpers out of a market stall in West London's Covent Garden in 1979. Their first design — one black sheep amongst a flock of white ones — instantly became a global phenomenon when a young Lady Diana Spencer was photographed wearing it to a polo match the following year. Rowing Blazers founder Jack Carlson helped revive the dormant brand in 2021, and now, over forty years later, the iconic design is still making people smile.
