WARM & WONDERFUL WINTER ‘22

WARM & WONDERFUL WINTER ‘22

For its Winter ’22 collection, heritage British knitwear brand Warm & Wonderful — most famous for the iconic red “Black Sheep” jumper made famous by Princess Diana — is releasing a new capsule of Shetland sweaters and a crocheted bucket hat featuring the brand’s signature pattern.

The new capsule’s unisex crewnecks and women’s cardigans come in red, navy, black and cream, and are each knit from 100% Shetland wool. Shetland wool, long celebrated for its unparalleled warmth, texture, and durability, is sourced from the sheep native to Scotland’s far northern Shetland Islands and has defined the area’s rural farming community for generations. Shetland yarns typically measure around 23 microns, making them heavier than merino wool — and perfect for the colder months ahead.

Shot by photographer Phoenix Johnson on location at The Explorers Club as part of Rowing Blazers’ Fall/Winter ’22 campaign, the capsule also includes a crocheted bucket hat featuring the immediately recognizable “Black Sheep” pattern first made famous by the brand’s knit jumpers in 1979.

Warm & Wonderful’s Winter ’22 collection is available now: here on our site, at warmandwonderful.com, and at select retailers.
