THE NEW ROWING BLAZERS FLAGSHIP GRAND OPENING

Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of the new Rowing Blazers flagship, over two years after the Covid-19 pandemic forced the closing of our original and beloved Grand Street location. The new store — at 8 Rivington Street in New York City, the former home of Freemans Sporting Club — is on the same block as many of our past pop-ups, including our very first in 2017.

“Opening this store marks the beginning of a new chapter for Rowing Blazers as a brand,” says Creative Director and founder Jack Carlson. “But it’s also a continuation of how we started five years ago. The reception we had when we opened our first pop-up on the same block blew me away. Most of all, I’m excited to begin hosting our launch events again. They had become a staple in the community.”

In addition to Rowing Blazers, the new store will also carry the other brands under Jack’s creative direction — Warm & Wonderful, Arthur Ashe and Gyles & George — as well as a wide selection of curated vintage clothing, accessories, magazines, books and ephemera: from vintage cricket blazers to ‘80s NYU crewnecks; Lehman Brothers banker bags to Rolex sailing hats; old copies of Japan’s Free & Easy magazine to a pair of original Georgetown Nike Terminators.

The new Rivington Street flagship’s Grand Opening takes place on Thursday, September 8, 2022, with a special celebration from 6:00pm-9:00pm; beginning the following day, September 9, the store will be open from 11:00am-7:00pm, seven days a week. We can’t wait to see you.
