ROWING BLAZERS X LA VESTE

Continuing our expansion into the womenswear arena, we’re proud (and really excited) to be launching a new collaboration with Blanca Miro and Maria de la Orden's cult Spanish womenswear brand La Veste . (Fittingly, “La Veste” is the French word for “blazer”.)

According to Miro and de la Orden, their brand is defined by “an extravagant character: out of the order, non contaminated; breezy, free, daring, funny, optimistic, happy and fresh.” The collaboration is a natural fit. Like Rowing Blazers, they continue, La Veste “aims at setting a new standard; being an outsider in the fashion world, far from usual trends, culminating in a different and daring final product.”

The collection introduces new silhouettes made famous by La Veste into the Rowing Blazers world — including the brand’s signature Jockey Blazer, Hill Blazer, School Shirt, Kilo Mini Skirt, Jockey Pant, Clovis Pant, and Malmo Jumpsuit; these pieces are embellished with house Rowing Blazers materials and motifs. Other items include an embroidered vertical block-stripe rugby shirt; a wool-and-cashmere blend crewneck sweater featuring intarsia-knit snails; a graphic co-branded tee; and accessories like socks , and a cap featuring an embroidered snail.

The vibrant campaign imagery was shot on location in La Veste’s home city of Barcelona by photographer Pablo Pastor and features model Matilde Mørch.
