ROWING BLAZERS X GRATEFUL DEAD

ROWING BLAZERS X GRATEFUL DEAD

There’s nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile: our new Rowing Blazers x Grateful Dead capsule is now available.

The collection features a lightweight tie-dyed and embroidered cotton Stealie rugby, a piqué “Tennis Club” polo, a “Sailing Club” t-shirt, two cotton twill caps, a woven necktie, and a cotton “Grandma-knit” Stealie crewneck sweater.

Like our last Grateful Dead capsule, this one was designed together with Delawarean Deadhead (and self-described “parking-lot purveyor of dry goods you’ll find at Shakedown Streets all across the greater northeast”) Mike Gracie. According to our founder Jack Carlson, Gracie had been embroidering Rowing Blazers rugbies with Dead-inspired sporting motifs he created: “He was posting them on Instagram, and people were loving them. So we thought, hey — let’s actually do this.”

The Rowing Blazers x Grateful Dead collection coincides with Dead & Company’s “Dead Forever” residency at Las Vegas’s Sphere (through August 10); on-location photography was shot by Spencer Wells. Click here to shop the new capsule, and if you get confused, just listen to the music play.
