ROWING BLAZERS SUMMER ‘24

Following our acquisition by Burch Creative Capital and the appointment of Laura Willensky as our new CEO, we’re releasing our first new collection of the year: Rowing Blazers Summer ’24. It features new products along with updated favorites, and includes several collaborative capsules with longtime partners Babar, The Grateful Dead, Harry’s New York Bar, and Winnie-the-Pooh to be released throughout the season.

The campaign, an ode to coastal summers, was shot in Marin County, California by Spencer Wells and features our founder and creative director Jack Carlson’s G500 Cabriolet; check out the lookbook here.

 

Highlights include a new, lighter-weight version of our iconic rugby shirts; these, along with our classic button-down Oxford shirts and piqué polos, are now adorned with an embroidered icon of a heraldic-inspired crowned heart — a new entry into Rowing Blazers’ extensive visual vocabulary.

Other items include graphic tees, sweats, and mesh shorts featuring our Take Ivy-inspired collegiate arch motif; an embroidered “spellout” crewneck sweatshirt; an homage to the original “Fun Shirt”; washed-and-weathered garment-dyed pull-on canvas shorts; cotton twill and corduroy dad hats featuring Derry Bones goldwork patches and embroidered dodos and “Bath Club” faucets; striped and club-style neckties (including one made from a patchwork of vintage silk ties personally selected by Jack); authentic canvas banker bags featuring some of our favorite fictional firms; and 3-packs of cotton crew socks with house motifs. New products include a cotton crewneck Sailor Sweater with a hand-embroidered wire bullion goldwork-enhanced patch on the left sleeve.

 

Collaborations include capsules with beloved fictional characters Babar and Winnie-the-Pooh; legendary band The Grateful Dead; and historic Parisian establishment Harry’s New York Bar; each of these include both new and re-imagined pieces from past collections and will be released in separate installments throughout the season. Also included is a small, vintage-flavored USRowing collection featuring a crewneck sweatshirt, tab t-shirt and cap inspired by the “Boys in the Boat” who won gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
