THIS IS JULIAN PACE

We’re huge fans of Julian Pace’s larger-than-life paintings featuring (among other pop culture references) 90s sports icons, and so we recently paid the self-taught artist a visit.

“Julian Pace is one of my favorite artists,” explains Rowing Blazers founder Jack Carlson. “We are very fortunate to have two of his portraits — one of Batistuta and one of Rodman — hanging in our NYC flagship at 8 Rivington Street. Our friend Jake Inez photographed Julian at his studio and at his recent solo exhibition, ‘Front and Back,’ in Los Angeles.”
