ROWING BLAZERS VINTAGE COLLECTION

We’ve just released a new collection of vintage apparel and accessories curated by Rowing Blazers creative director and founder Jack Carlson. The capsule reflects Jack’s eclectic and intersecting interests in academia, vintage sportswear, Japanese Ametora and ‘90s nostalgia, and ranges from collegiate blazers and varsity sweaters to graphic tees and rare copies of Japanese menswear books and magazines.

“MUCH OF WHAT WE DO IS THE RESULT OF TIRELESS RESEARCH ON ESOTERIC SPORTING TRADITIONS, THE ANTHROPOLOGY OF CLOTHES, AND VINTAGE PIECES WE LOVE. THIS ECLECTIC NEW COLLECTION CONSISTS OF PIECES THAT INSPIRE AND INFORM THE WORLD OF ROWING BLAZERS.”

Jack, who earned a doctorate in archaeology at Oxford, explains: “Archaeology isn’t just digging in the dirt: it’s the study of material culture, which includes vintage clothes. And Rowing Blazers is as much about history as anything. Much of what we do is the result of tireless research on esoteric sporting traditions, the anthropology of clothes, and vintage pieces we love. This eclectic new collection consists of pieces that inspire and inform the world of Rowing Blazers.”
