ROWING BLAZERS AT THE 2024 BOW BALL

Thank you to the over 400 blazer-clad supporters — including author and internet personality Caroline Calloway, actor Luke Slattery from George Clooney's new film The Boys in the Boat, and US Olympic Team member Brooke Mooney — who joined our founder Jack Carlson at Row New York’s seventh annual Bow Ball last Friday at the New York Athletic Club. With Jack’s new book, Rowing Blazers: Revised & Expanded Edition, launching in conjunction with the event, we raised over $170,000 for the organization’s youth rowing programs (and had a lot of fun while doing it).

“This is a full circle moment for me in a way,” explains Jack. “I launched my first book ten years ago in partnership with Ralph Lauren. That's what really launched my career and inspired me to start the Rowing Blazers brand. I never imagined all the things we would do with the brand. And it all began with a book. So much has changed since then, in fashion and also in the sport of rowing, mostly for the better. I'd like to think that the Rowing Blazers brand has contributed to that in some small way. The new book reflects those changes. I'm also proud of the money we've raised for Row New York, which is an amazing organization here in New York City providing access to the sport for so many kids who might never have had the opportunity to try it.”
