Late 1960s Wakmann Complete Calendar ChronographWind Vintage $2,900
This Wakmann chronograph is one of the best-looking complete calendar chronograph watches from the 1960s and one of the more complex watches made in that period. It features a “reverse panda dial” meaning it has a black base with white chronograph registers for measuring time. It also features the month, day of the week, and date. The movement was made by Valjoux, a company that supplied chronograph movements to Rolex for its famous Daytona and “Jean-Claude Killy” complete calendar watches as well as Heuer and its Carrera and Autavia models. The watch is in “like new” condition and truly a spectacular-looking watch with a large 39mm case excluding crown.
This watch is currently on view at the Rowing Blazers Clubhouse at 161 Grand Street in New York City. Curated by Wind Vintage. Ships separately. Please allow an additional 7-10 days for delivery. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for inquiries.
