Pulsar Watch, 1970's
Gold plated, stainless steel quartz watch by Japanese company, Pulsar. This watch was actually made by Seiko, and has many similarities to the classic dive pieces that this iconic sports watch maker was producing at the time. Their DNA is all over this piece, it's just missing the brand name; the thick heavy steel case, date situated at 3 o'clock and the stick hour markers, topped with small round lume plots. The hands are black painted steel and filled with lume, with a center sweep hand with small arrow head of lume set near the tip. This watch has the 1970's applied "P" logo.
The watch is in excellent unpolished condition, the original mineral crystal has been replaced and scratch free. The lume has turned a very warm off white colour on the hands, and all lume is orginal and under UV light reacts the same, with a very bright green glow. The watch is unpolished and comes on a leather band.
