Stainless Steel Quartz Pulsar, 1970sFoundwell vintage $150
A stainless steel quartz watch by Japanse company, Pulsar. This watch was actually made by Seiko, and has many similarities to the classic dive pieces that this iconic sports watch maker was producing at the time. Their DNA is all over this piece, it's just missing the brand name. The thick heavy steel case, the day and date sitauated at 3 o'clock and the sloped inner chapter ring with bold lume hour markers. The hands are steel and filled with lume, with a center sweep hand with a small arrow head of lume set near the tip. The watch is in excellent unpolished condition, the original mineral crystal has been replaced and scratch-free. The lume has gone a very warm cream color on the hands, and all lume is original and under UV light reacts the same, with a very bright green glow. The watch is unpolished and comes on the original bracelet.
Curated by Foundwell.
