  • We almost called this one the Norman Polo after the Icon who used to sport it in the 70's. Instead, we named it the Club Polo as it's the perfect shirt to sport on the court or the course. The Club Polo is a contemporary take on vintage Boast, Country Club style. Upgraded with the finest, softest Pima Cotton in the world, with a hint of stretch, the Club Polo combines performance and wearability.  Features include: Vintage 4-Button Triangle finished Placket, Pocket at wearer's Left Chest, Genuine Mother of Pearl Buttons, End Fold label for hanging in the locker, Tennis Tail Hem and NEW subtle Boast Leaf Logo.

  • 93% Peruvian Pima Cotton (the softest cotton in the world), 7% Stretch. Pocket with New Subtle Boast Leaf Logo. Vintage 4-Button Triangle finished Placket. Genuine Mother of Pearl Buttons. End Fold label for hanging in the locker. Taped Seams. Bartack at Side Vent. Tennis Tail Hem.

  • Fits true to size.

  • Founded in 1973 by a group of All-American collegiate squash and tennis players, Boast was created as the American answer to traditional European tennis brands.

With its irreverent attitude and subtly subversive approach to sport, Boast shares some of the same ethos that guides Rowing Blazers.

The ‘70s were a time of individuality. In tennis, it was an era of rebels who dominated the courts and culture at large. Like the American icons of the era, Boast developed a healthy sense of rebellious irreverence.

Boast’s celebrated logo - a Japanese Maple leaf (sometimes mistaken for another type of leaf) - has been spotted on piqué tennis shirts and warm-ups sported by the likes of John McEnroe, Donald Young, John Updike, George W. Bush, and, of course, Joel Goodsen — Tom Cruise’s character in Risky Business.
