Seiko-Blue PogueWind Vintage - $650
Seiko-Blue PogueWind Vintage $650
This is a Seiko (reference 6139) with the blue dial, often called the blue Pogue. There’s an orange-gold dial version of this, nicknamed the Pogue after kernel William Pogue who was an astronaut in the U.S space program and wore the yellow-orange gold color into space during a Skylab 4 mission. This is the same watch but with a blue dial and a gray inner-bezel. It is a chronograph and can record up to 30 minutes. The watch also contains the day of the week and the date. The watch is in beautiful condition. It is unpolished with the original and rare H-bracelet. The watch is a fantastic example of a great 1970s design. Seiko was one of the first to introduce the automatic chronograph movement in 1969, and that movement powers this watch.
This watch is currently on view at the Rowing Blazers Trading Post at the Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angeles. Curated by Wind Vintage. Ships separately. Please allow an additional 7-10 days for delivery. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for inquiries.
