Stan Pineapple Quilt Jacket

One of a Kind Stan Jacket

This jacket was made from a 1930's variant of the log cabin quilt; called the pineapple. There are hundreds of variations of the log cabin quilt- the pineapple quilt block looks different than the traditional Log Cabin quilt block, featuring the same basic construction. The “logs” are still constructed around a center square, but they’re angled, creating the illusion of arcs or circles across the quilt. This design was adapted in the early 20th century and spread from the North East making its way through the history of American quilt making.

Three front pockets, five buttons. All idiosyncrasies, mending, and wear are unique to the original textile. Tailor made in Los Angeles. Dry clean only. All sales are final.
