Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest.
Arm Length
Bend your elbow around a 90 degree angle. Have someone hold measuring tape at the center back of your neck. Measure across your shoulder to your elbow and down to your wrist. The total length is your arm length.
Body Length
Measurement from the top of the shoulder seam to the bottom of the shirt.

Provenance
90s comedy director Tom Shadyac created his famous "Are You A Preppie?" poster when he was a UVA student in 1979, casting his friend Spencer Tunnell in the role of "Nathaniel Elliott Worthington III." The poster became an '80s icon and appeared on dorm room walls across the country. It also laid the groundwork for the visual format of The Official Preppy Handbook, published in 1980, and for a whole host of publications and products that followed that legendary tome, including The Official Sloane Ranger Handbook, The Official Yuppie Handbook, The I-Hate-Preppies Handbook, BCBG (France's answer to the Preppy Handbook), and more. Our "Are You A Preppie?" capsule is made in collaboration with Tom Shadyac, and a portion of the proceeds from sales on this product will be donated to an organization founded by Shadyac, Memphis Rox: a community center and climbing gym that provides valuable afterschool programs for kids and never turns anyone away for inability to pay.
