Three-button placket (the good ol' fashioned way). Split tail. No logo on chest, because, come on, you either want the logo of some weird old club, or nothing. 100% Peruvian pima cotton. Props not included.

Size & Fit

Unisex (men's sizing). Classic / oversized fit. For a more fitted look, order one size down.

Provenance

"This shirt is based on a vintage Yale polo jersey from the early 80s: it was beautiful. Navy blue soft pima cotton (no tech-y fabrics) with a hand-stitched white satin stripe - not too wide - running diagonally across the front. No one makes polo shirts like these (until now), and there's a reason why: it's not easy, because the pima cotton is a knit, and the satin is a woven. It has to be sewn by hand. But it's worthwhile, because the result is just right. I would never buy a pieced piqué diagonal stripe polo shirt; but this is a different animal altogether. You feel like Laddie Sanford, or like Steve McQueen in the Thomas Crown Affair. But it's also modern and uncomplicated. Our polos don't have any logo on the chest, because I like it that way; I either want the logo of some weird old club, or nothing." - Jack
