Notes

This rare Jules Racine “Profundus” is an unusual dive watch from the 1970s with a quartz (battery-powered) movement. Interestingly, this watch features a depth gauge incorporated into the watch for diving purposes. The bezel is a red and black bezel (a style called a “Coke” bezel in the world of Rolex) and the tritium luminous material on the dial and in the hands has aged to a beautiful and warm cream color. It is on a strap made of shell cordovan.

This watch is currently on view at the Rowing Blazers Clubhouse at 161 Grand Street in New York City. Curated by Wind Vintage. Ships separately. Please allow an additional 7-10 days for delivery. Contact info@windvintage.com for inquiries.
